The Scarecrow Village is the heartbeat of the Durrow Scarecrow Festival. Situated in the Square, it cannot be missed as you drive through picturesque Durrow.
The Scarecrow Village is where you will find Bouncy Castles, Live Musical performances, Workshops, Demonstrations, Inflatable Fooseball, Mice Racing, Face Painting and so much more. Please see our Festival Brochure for the full and extensive list of activities, that take place in the Village.
On Bank Holiday Monday, the 1st of August, the Scarecrow Village is also the place to be for the hugely popular IWW Wrestling Warriors, with bouts taking places every hour.
Check out the map below, which highlights some of the Festival’s main areas of interest, such as The Ranch, The Community Centre which houses the Art & Craft Exhibition, and Tay Lane which always boasts a wonderfully created, theme based, gathering of scarecrows.
